Mike Wickman - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mike Wickman has more than 30 years of document and information management experience in the healthcare provider sector. Prior to IOD, Mike founded Information Management Corporation (IMC) in 1983. Under his leadership the organization expanded to become the first Midwest full‐service document management provider specializing in healthcare, with a focus on constructing hybrid solutions to efficiently manage the electronic medical record and the secure distribution of patient health information.
In 1997 Mike merged his company with SourceCorp, where he served as Senior Vice President of their HealthServe Division for nine years. As a corporate member of numerous state Health Information Management Associations, Mike is dedicated to understanding the complexity of delivering best practice solutions that balance the sensitivity of patient information with the efficiency required to control costs in the healthcare provider sector.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin‐Green Bay.
George Abatjoglou - Chief Operating Officer
George Abatjoglou is responsible for the overall operations leadership of IOD, overseeing customer sales and service activities, strategic product planning and marketing, information technology, support and implementation services as well as finance and administration.
Before joining IOD, George served as Chief Executive Officer of eWebHealth Inc., a provider of electronic legal health record workflow solutions delivered via software as a service. From 2001 through 2008 he served as the Chief Financial Officer and head of eWebHealth product operations for ChartOne, a provider of Release of Information and related medical record services. George earned his certified public accountant credentials at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the early 90′s and served in numerous financial leadership positions prior to joining ChartOne.
George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Miami University.
Brett Parent - Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer
As IOD’s Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, Brett Parent is charged with overseeing strategic direction, corporate branding and ongoing innovation for the organization. He is the former President and CEO of document imaging leader, Automated Document Solutions (ADS), which was purchased by IOD in December 2010.
Brett’s focus on strategic partnerships with leading HIT suppliers and valued added relationships with key strategic customers resulted in rapid growth and significant technological and client service advances throughout his tenure at ADS.
Today, Brett plays a key role in helping IOD achieve its goal of market leadership in HIM services. Since joining IOD, Brett has focused on building the new IOD brand, leveraging strategic customer and HIT supplier relationships, and has targeted to expand the breadth of HIM services delivered to IOD clients. The combination of Brett’s industry experience and strategic vision, joined with IOD’s HIM expertise, will keep IOD in the lead delivering the most comprehensive offering of HIM services.

David Van Doren, RHIA, CCS, RAC-CT – President, Coding/HIM Consulting/EMR Abstraction Division
David Van Doren is President of IOD’s Coding/HIM Consulting/EMR Abstraction Division where he is charged with overseeing the internal and client facing operations as well as providing strategic leadership. David has more than 20 years of health information management experience with concentrations in acute care hospital coding and reimbursement, long-term care coding and reimbursement, DRG and APC analysis, documentation improvement and compliance services. He has provided advisory and training services to inpatient and outpatient facilities and physician offices. Previously, David was President of a national coding and compliance firm where he attained experience in the area of hospital auditing as related to compliance and integrity issues. He also was Senior Director of HIM at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York where he was instrumental in integrating software into health information management. As Manager for Ernst & Young, David also worked on integrity and compliance issues.
David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Records Administration from York College of PA.
Brian Whiteside - President of ROI Services Division
With almost three decades of experience and expertise, Brian Whiteside leads IOD’s Release of Information (ROI) division – charged with quality control, certification and compliance and new technology integration. With a seasoned background as a Founder and President of two successful ROI companies, Brian brings incomparable insight into ROI efficiency and best practices which are reflected in his division’s tremendous long-term success.
Brian began his Release of Information career in 1984 and, after a series of divestitures and acquisitions, joined forces with IOD in March 2008 as a result of IOD’s acquisition of his most recent venture, Secure Health Information.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.
Kevin Rukamp – Chief Financial Officer
Kevin Rukamp is responsible for managing the financial activities of IOD Incorporated, including oversight of accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, risk management and maintenance of internal controls. Kevin has been employed by IOD or its related entities for more than 22 years, holding a supervisor or management position for the last 17 years. He resided as Controller for over six years prior to becoming IOD’s CFO in 2006.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Lakeland College.
William Sweeney – Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, William Sweeney is responsible for all business systems, professional services, technology strategy, information technology security, software development and the customer support services that underlie and complement IOD’s services business.
William is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Cisco CCENT with more than 12 years of experience in healthcare information technology, security and healthcare service delivery. Prior to joining IOD, William was VP of Operations at eWebHealth Inc. where he was responsible for software quality assurance, the overall service delivery operations, including post-sales implementation activity, business consulting and technical operations at the data centers that delivered eWebHealth’s SaaS offering. Before eWebHealth William served as the Director of Technical Sales and Implementation at Wellogic, a leading vendor of health information exchange, physician portal and EHR/PHR solutions. He also served as the Director of Application Services and Information Technology while managing an international telemedicine network at WorldCare Technologies.
William holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Thought and Political Economy from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Glenn Schweidler, RHIA – COO, Coding/HIM Consulting/EMR Abstraction Division
Glenn Schweidler has over 18 years of Health Information Management experience. Glenn is COO of IOD’s Coding/HIM Consulting/EMR Abstraction Division where he is charged with overall operations of the division as well as working with clients in order to ensure 100 percent client satisfaction in all coding, auditing, EMR abstracting and/or HIM consulting projects. Prior to his current role, he was Principal and COO of MECA (Medical Executive Coding and Auditing), which was purchased by IOD in April 2011. During the majority of his career, Glenn has held various HIM leadership positions in both healthcare facilities and consulting firms. At The Graduate Hospital, Glenn was responsible for all coding and auditing operations. As Regional Director for MedQuist, Glenn presided over a major client service center serving more than 50 healthcare facilities. He was responsible for overseeing all operations, including transcription, dictation, digital dictation systems and telecommunications.
Glenn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management from Temple University.
Robert Donnelly – Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Robert (Bob) Donnelly has more than 20 years of experience in sales and sales leadership. As Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Bob oversees the sales team at IOD, driving overall sales strategy, team development and performance for the company. He is also responsible for the development and promotion of the company’s brand and product positioning, as well as market research, lead generation, customer success programs and other communication programs and channels.
Prior to IOD, Bob served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for both eWebHealth and ChartOne Inc. In addition, he spent 25 years in the healthcare information technology field, predominantly with Siemens Health Services in a variety of positions.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Penn State University.
